Rouse Hill regional park is a popular destination  for families and individuals seeking outdoor activities. The park has playgrounds, sports fields, walking trails and picnic areas. Another large park in the area, Kellyville Memorial Park offers a variety of recre ational facilities, including, tennis courts and a dog park. Bernie Mullane Sports Complex delivers fields and courts fo r basketball, badminton, netball, futsal and more, as well as a café and gym.  Stanhope Gardens Reserve is ideal for hosting large family gatherings, with ample space for picnics, barbecues, and outdoor games. We will soon welcome a new park, the 20-hectare Ken Birdsey Park, to Schofields. 

Rouse Hill demographics

Rouse Hill's strong infrastructure, growing population and convenient location have contributed to a thriving property market. Young families are attracted to the area, with the median age of our residents being just 34 years. Our residents are well-educated with around 36% holding a Bachelor degree or above. The majority work as professionals in IT and healthcare.

Rouse Hill property market 

Capital growth has been impressive in recent years, making the region an attractive investment option. In Rouse Hill, the median house price is $1,491,000 while units are sitting at $660,000. The median rent for houses is $800 a week and units are sitting at $625. The 12-month growth for houses has been 9.9% but units have stalled at 0.31%. Rental yield reflects the median prices, with houses on 2.78% and units on 4.83%. Rentals are popular in the district, with almost 40% of our residents renting, many to establish themselves in the suburb before buying.
